Just wanted to say thank you for the work you did for my medal set and the ribbon bars that you made. I have used your company for my entire military career for all of my medal requirements. Your work is excellent and your customer service is second to none. I will continue to use your services and recommend your company to all of my work colleagues.
I don’t normally put my name to companies as they can and do quite often slip in their performance and quality service. However this company is different, it recognises the value of good quality customer service, it recognises the fact most of their customers are either past or present serving members or their families and friends. Put simply we dont want JUNK, we DON’T Buy JUNK, and we sure as hell dont WEAR JUNK! Ive ordered from Heritage for quite a number of years now, and always pleased with both the service as well as the quality. For me these are far more important than the cost, as it is moment of pride and times past which my medals remember, i have no wish to cheapen them by wearing anything other than a true and honest representation of my valued originals. This is why i continue to come back, i admit ive tried a few other companies that were cheaper, and they are for a reason, they either rip you off by sending junk, or they simply dont send anything! There is an age old saying ” you pay for what you get” and im a very happy customer knowing that not only is Heritage Medals (Now Heritage Honours & Awards) competitive, but there quality is next to none by comparison.
Our small country station recently had an Ambo retire from the service. Myself, the team and members of the local town’s committee, wanted to show our gratitude for the dedication that this woman has given to our town and station. We came up with a unique design and approached Heritage Medals to construct a station specific service medal. From the first contact to the last, the teams customer service was above and beyond my expectations. I was informed on every step of the way with friendly and informing communication. They were genuinely interested in our project and with our queries, responded to email communication quickly and gave honest and trustworthy information. The final product of the service medals were better than what I expected. The design was exactly how I imaged it to be and more. Our station will definitely be using Heritage Medals for our future awards and honours. I’ll definitely be recommending this company to others as their craftsmanship and professionalism are second to none!
I nearly had my real medals stolen one Anzac Day a few years back and got a set of replicas that I wear for most occasions. I decided that, while I could afford it, I would get another two sets made up, making three sets, one for each grandchild for when I fall out of the tree. The real set will go to the family trust if I haven’t flogged them before, to take an Antarctic cruise on a Russian Nuclear Icebreaker. Today I received the two sets by mail from WA, you see I thought I would get Heritage Medals to make up the sets, I had to buy the lot of course – mounting and purchase of all medals and the finished product was the best I have seen. It is because of this, the quality of the workmanship to the finished product I have no hesitation in recommending anyone to contact them.
I just thought I would let you know that I find the services you provide are outstanding. I work in a field where customer service and open communication on updating people as to what is happening, and I find that when there is a break in communication, customers/clients become disgruntled. This is certainly NOT the case with you. Thank you for keeping me updated on every step of the way. It surely does make life a lot more enjoyable when you are informed. I think your motto ‘service really matters’ is evidenced through this. Keep up the good work.
My badge arrived safely yesterday. Come next Anzac Day I won’t be the only member of the WRAAC Reserve Association marching without a badge on my beret … as I have for the last three years! Other members of my group had told me how hard they were to find, how expensive they were and recommended a place in Ballarat (which is around a two hour drive from here) as my best option. I also found one a two minute walk from where I work but the price was out of the question. With the Reserve Forces Day March coming up next weekend I finally thought about using the internet and searched on Google which brought up your site. It has been a pleasure dealing with you. Your service ethic is second to none … and I have a badge at a price I can afford without leaving my chair. I will be sure to recommend you to others in my group.
Thank you for e-mail and for the parcel of medals, which arrived safely on Friday morning last. I am very well pleased with all of them – they seem to be excellent reproductions at very reasonable prices, especially perhaps the DSO which is a complicated and difficult decoration to manufacture; being only the obverse does not affect its usefulness in completing a display group. However, my favourite is the Australian Antarctic Service Medal, as this is the one which I had never actually seen before and which pleases my interest in Antarctic exploration. Maybe at some stage it will be possible to locate copies of one or other of the three UK Polar Medals, which I should dearly like to have in my collection! Again, my thanks and my very best wishes.
I recently ordered a WW1 Victory medal and Memorial plaque to replace those of my great grandfather which were lost in a house fire. The quality of these items is outstanding and puts my own replicas, bought from another company, which I use for Anzac day to shame. I will have no qualms with mounting this VM alongside my GGF’s original British War Medal and proudly displaying them with my grandfather’s and father’s medals. The engraving on the VM is indistinguishable from that on the original BWM and is more than worth the extra cost. Thank for your excellent service and quality products.
I wish to say a sincere Thankyou to all concerned in the above mentioned order of a Pacific Star Medal which was awarded to my father for his efforts in WW11 and was misplaced as his dementia surfaced. It is important to our family now he is deceased to have his memorabilia framed for future generations. Your web site was wonderful and easy to navigate, the placing of the order and subsequent follow up was amazing and the Medal arrived via Aust. Post today which was very prompt. Congratulations on a smooth process and Good Luck for all your future endeavours.
I recently had the need to seek assistance from Heritage Medals (whom I have dealt with for a number of years) to assist me in designing and then manufacturing a commemorative centenary jewel (medal) for my masonic lodge in WA. Suffice to say that the excellent assistance and understanding of my intent was easily met, with a functional and outstanding design being formulated, with delivery being undertaken within five (5) weeks. All of my masonic lodge members were extremely satisfied with their jewels. I highly commended and recommend Heritage Medals for their no fuss service, fantastic customer service and very competitive pricing. Well Done Heritage Medals!
I recently had two separate orders with HERITAGE and i am truly satisfied (a) with the quality of my products and (2) the total professionalism shown by HERITAGE from start to finish. I will certainly recommend HERITAGE to every-one i know…all past and present veterans. Quality service and products….OUTSTANDING !!!!! Many thanks ………… Wazza
You guys are the ‘bomb’ a small hic up made and corrected within 7 days. I appreciate your support and fast turnaround.
If Heritage haven’t got it they will manufacture it or source it for you. Nothing is too much trouble. And if you want replica medals or originals mounted for Anzac Day, don’t wait until the day before, you may be disappointed.
I have recently purchased new Commendations (Bronze and Silver) due the pins on the back of my originals breaking. I attempted to get replacements via the Defence online store but the process was too difficult hence the reason I went through Heritage Medals. I found their service to be extremely professional and delivery was fast and efficient. The Commendations themselves were as good as the originals with great detail and weight comparison. Highly recommend and will use their service again.
Thanks for doing a such a great job on my Dads gongs.
Good morning from a grey and foggy England. The medal ribbons I have ordered from you have arrived safely and are now being added to my medals and uniforms. Thank you for the excellent service – friendly, swift and efficient. Well done the Aussies!
Hi Guys I have received this complete order today. Thanks to you for the prompt dispatch & delivery of this order coupled with your excellent communication at all times when advising of delivery status. I will be highly recommending your website to other RNZAF personnel here in NZ. Hope you all have a great festive season.
I recently had my medals remounted at Heritage Medals and was proud to wear them on the ANZAC March. The quality and craftsmanship is second to none.

Operational Service Badge: Civilian
This is the civilian version of the OSB. Before the establishment of the Australian Operational Service Medal (AOSM) in May 2012, those who received the Australian Active Service Medal were also issued with the Returned from Active Service Badge (RASB). Because the AOSM recognises all declared operational service, an Operational Service Badge (OSB) has been established to be issued on the first award of the AOSM.$9.05 GST added at checkout
The OSB has two versions - military and civilian, to be issued with the respective medal types.
The RASB will continue to be issued with the AASM for current warlike operations.
In contrast with the RASB, the OSB may also be issued to the next-of-kin of deceased members to complement the award of the OSM.
This badge is the highest-quality available, die-struck from one piece brass or copper, and plated. It is not cast from brittle pewter.Add to cartProduct added!
