Gold commemorative Ambassador for Peace Medal from the Korean WAr Veterans Association, presented to members who participated in the revisit program. A small number of Ambassador of Peace Medals that is received from the Seoul Korean Veterans Association were presented to deserving members who were unable to make the revisit to Korea for medical reasons. The association issued each medal with a certificate of thanks, citing with "Everlasting gratitude of the Republic of Korea for the service you and your countrymen have performed in restoring and preserving our freedom and democracy. We cherish in our hearts the memory of your boundless sacrifices in helping us re-establish our Free Nation." Please note: This replica has an imperfection. The reverse side of the original medal from which they were replicated had a gash through one edge of the reverse face. naturally that imperfection is present in the replicas as well. The obverse is fine, as are the edges and the reverse face it's just that there is a mark and we would rather warn you about that in advance - it won't affect the mounting or showing of the medal.
